The Mesh Wi-Fi start up, Eero Company has laid off 30 of its employees. It has stated this move to be a bid to focus on the core business. This company was launched in the year 2015. Since then it has played quite a crucial role in transforming the face of the Home Wi-Fi with all the products that have been specifically designed for the replacement of the old age routers as well as the extenders. The first is the next gen Eero with the Triband Wi-Fi and the second one is the Beacon which can be plugged directly into the wall sockets at all those places where it is not possible to have a product with a cord. The Eero has already raised $ 90 million from the first round capital along with the Menlo Ventures, Initialized Capital and also the AME Cloud Ventures and the Homebrew Ventures etc.
Now Eero will be laying off around 20 percent of the workforce
In July, the Eero company had acquired the start up by the name of Thington which is a home administration app which is being based on the Dopplr. Now it will be laying off around 20 percent of the workforce and this would count to 30 of its employees in number. Well, the company confirmed that it has let 30 of its employees to go in order to touch upon the complete manpower dimension of the company.
