The robotic cat by the name of “Joy for all “will be helping out senior citizens for performing some simple tasks

The toymaker company by the name of the “Hasbro” and the “Brown University” has received a grant of around $1 million from the National Science Foundation for finding out the ways to add the artificial intelligence to the robotic cat by the name of “Joy for All.” It will be helping out the senior citizens for performing their simple tasks. This will be the only robotic cat in the market which will be acting as the companion for the senior citizens .It is a three years old project which strives for the development of the additional capabilities of the senior citizens and assist them in doing some sort of the simpler tasks. But the company is still working out on all tasks that this robotic cat can perform. It might include finding the lost objects, reminding the owners to go to the doctor etc.

This robotic cat would be helping out senior citizens while staying at their homes for longer period of time

This cat has been in the market from over a period of over two years and it acts as a companion of the old age people. It purrs and also meows and you can watch it licking her paws and also she rolls over and asks for a belly rub too. The researchers at the Humanity Centered Robotics of the Brown University are working hard for determining what all tasks can make out most of the sense .This robotic cat would be helping out senior citizens while staying at their homes for longer period of time and performing the little tasks on their own. Well this is not going to iron the clothes or wash the dishes and you can’t expect to have a conversation with it. But it seems to be good at providing the comfort to the senior citizens.

Even the price of robotic cat would be near around few hundred of dollars and this means it fits into everyone’s pocket easily

The spokesperson of the company said that they are not making any sort of the overblown promises about what this cat can do but they are making an effort to enable the cat perform some of the smaller tasks with high level of the efficiency. Even the price of the cat would be less near around few hundred of the dollars. So this means it fits into everyone’s pocket. In fact the cost of the current version of the product is $100.This project has been given the name of the “Affordable Robotic Intelligence for the Elderly Support” (ARIES). This idea has appealed a lot to Jeane Elliot who is living with her 93 years old mother, Mary Der who is suffering from mild dementia .So the cat will be her company and sooth her when Elliott will be away from for work. The cat will serve as a tool that would be making the things easier for the elderly people.
