A dedicated phone for the gamer in you!
The Razer phone is the newest add-on to the humongous smart phone market. Packed full of power and potential, this phone is a one stop destination for the gamers. Released on Nov 17, 2017, Razer is giving a tough competition to some of the best phones available in the market. It is being designed by a firm who is well established and lauded for its gaming laptops and peripherals. Razer comes equipped with a 4000 mAh battery. Yes, stop worrying about the red battery bar! The legions of gamers are more than eager to get one for themselves.
Smooth, bright, vivid and exceptional sound quality
This Android phone built keeping in mind two core elements – the screen and the sound. Its 5.7 inch LCD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 packs the world’s first 120Hz refresh rate on a smart phone and is duly backed by Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers. The result – Razer! It boasts of seriously strong certification when it comes to visual and audio quality. Wait, there’s more! The screen is backed by UltraMotion™ technology which means wide color range and everything would look vibrant and sharp. The sound quality has been given a special thought. The front firing Dolby speakers and dual amplifiers creates a sound experience that you will love to feel. Looking at head phones, Hardware certified by THX guarantees audiophile quality sound for your ear drums.
Performance Optimized Design
Razer is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with an 8 GB RAM to ensure that you have the best viewing and gaming experience. An added feature called “Game Booster” to fully maximize Razer’s power and performance.
For the photographer in you
Oh yes, budding photo artists! The company didn’t forget you. Razer comes with 12 MP dual cameras. Doesn’t matter if you’re snapping a group pic or zooming in on the action, Razer is built in a way to smoothly transition from the f1.7 wide angle lens to 2X telephoto for the perfect shot. And, the dual tone flash colors ensure that your snaps always look balanced and natural.
The phone, we would say, is not a bad design. However, it is more comfortable to hold it in landscape mode. With the flat edges and angular corners, 8 mm thickness and weighing in at 197g, Razer is on a bit heavier side. Well, there is no headphone jack but you do have the audio adapter with built in 24-bit DAC in box. A centralized power/lock key and a fingerprint scanner to the right side, two small circular buttons for volume on the left and a USB-C port at the bottom and a fanless cooling technology – the Razer is a gadget one would love to carry in their pockets.
Razer runs on Android 7.1.1 but is expected to get an update to Android 8 Oreo in the 1st quarter of 2018. But, it’s not stock android, Razer opted to pre-install Nova Launcher in it, thus providing a range of additional functions.
